Twas the day before Christmas Eve.

I know 'yall have seen that McDonald's commercial with the R&B dude singing the song about the McChicken nuggets. What do y'all think about that?

The comedienne Judy Gould was on The View yesterday and she made an interesting statement about why she protested the decision of Prop. 8. She said she remembers seeing that one of the infamous Menendez brothers who was in jail was getting married...and how ridiculous that this man convicted of murder and in prison is able to easily get married and she can't.

Do you think that a presumed heterosexual man who enjoys anal sex with women somehow has tendency to have anal sex with men or wouldn't mind? I don't...

So I've been seeing this guy and while we're not exclusive, I can't help but to be possessive/jealous over him. ( I guess it's the scorpio in me...so people say.) He told me he was going to DC for Christmas and I suddenly got very emotional...I don't know whats going on with me.

So since that Walsh child's murder has been "solved", Does that mean that America's Most Wanted is going off the air? Does that show still come on?

I was going to go to my Father's house for Christmas but since his wife has decided to create some false sense of a happy family situation by arranging a secret santa ( in which she herself wrote all the names out and then herself picked the names for each individual) formed with people that don't really know each other and possibly have never met. Also, considering last Christmas over there wasn't exactly a Christmas that I'm used to...I've decided not to go. My father said, " Ok. I'll get up with you maybe Saturday for lunch then." mmmmm yeah.

If you're participating in shopping/gift-giving for the Christmas holiday, you have about 8 or 9 days left to shop. If like me, you have to ship the gifts away, you have less. I'm basically done myself....

Anyways, I went to see Milk this past Sunday. What a fantastic film! Sean Penn was absolutely amazing! Definitely Oscar worthly I'd say. The whole cast was actually wonderful. Josh Brolin, Emile Hirsch, James Franco.... GOOD ! Considering whats going on with Prop. 8, the film couldn't have been released at a better time. The live footage they included was great, that Anita Bryant footage OMG ! If you have seen this movie, you should.

I had more to say, but I don't remember what it was. I had a very enjoyable weekend, went to breakfast, to the movies, drinks with my roommate, a holiday party. I think I was in a little bit of funk for a minute, but I'm back now.

" The Gays"

So as part of a nationwide protest today December 10 is a day in which the gay community is supposed to call out of work "gay". I was talking about this to my roommate last night and we were both trying to figure out how exactly we were to go about this. Do you just call up your workplace and say " I'm not coming in today. I'm gay." ? I'm just not sure about that. Anyhow, this protest is in relation to our civil rights and Prop 8. Throw That Hambone Out!!

It's already December. Can you believe it? I feel like I was just at Barney's Co-Op looking for cute tshirts. Anyways, are you still digesting Thanksgiving dinner? Throw that food away! Them collard greens stink! And take that "This Christmas" dvd out the player, I know you've watched it enough ( Regina King did look great though, didn't she?).

• So I went home to Connecticut for Thanksgiving ( I know finally right..). It was great to see the family and my good friends. I ate nonfranchise pizza and took family portraits. I had a good time crammed into the few days that I was there, but I will say, ain't nothin like being back in Atlanta. It would take something serious for me to live in Connecticut again.
• Did you all watch the TVOne program Unsung? I caught the one based on Debarge. A great concept. BET is slacking terribly...but we've known that for some time huh? If it wasn't the Keyshia Cole reality show...
• Do you think it's crazy if I dressed up the puppy in a lil turtleneck or something and brought him to take pictures with Santa? Hmph...I don't care what y'all say. I know who I am!
• A couple of weeks ago I went with D and NewNew to the popular strip club Strokers. I had a very interesting time indeed. Yes, I got a lapdance...I actually got two and I loved it!! I believe I even learned a few things for my next show on some other unsuspecting patron at one of NewNew's soirees.
• As received through my email earlier this week: Why do we dislike fats and fems? Answer if you wish...
• Are you upset that some of the same things you woke up early to get on Black Friday are still on sale? Some of them for even less than before?
• Why is it that sex can sometimes be a solution, but also be the problem?
• Are you really in a recession? Some people I know have said that they've had more money during this so-called " recession" than before it. Maybe it's just a recession for those "others".
• Aren't you happy it's the weekend? What are your plans?
