So as part of a nationwide protest today December 10 is a day in which the gay community is supposed to call out of work "gay". I was talking about this to my roommate last night and we were both trying to figure out how exactly we were to go about this. Do you just call up your workplace and say " I'm not coming in today. I'm gay." ? I'm just not sure about that. Anyhow, this protest is in relation to our civil rights and Prop 8. Yea, this is a bad time to be trying to call in to work. Um, I need to get my paycheck. No deal for me. But ya know, I'm all for the gays.
